Alignment Tie Dialog Box

CIP RC/PT Girder can export plan view data to CAD formats. Users can choose to tie exported data to the state plane coordinates by identifying a location along the alignment and specifying an appropriate coordinate value by clicking the Alignment Tie button to open the Alignment Tie dialog box.

Perform the following steps to tie the alignment segment to a state plane coordinate point (optional).

Click the Alignment Tie button to open the Alignment Tie dialog box.
Enter the station of the alignment where the coordinate data is known (tie point).
Enter the north component of the alignment tie point.
Enter the east component of the alignment tie point.
Click the OK button to return to the Bridge Alignment dialog box.

Nomenclature

Setting	Description
East	The east component of the alignment tie point.
North	The north component of the alignment tie point.
Station	The station of the alignment where the coordinate data is known (tie point).
